Survival of the fittest

I have been on a tear recently, eating, drinking and flitting about on weekdays, weekday nights and weekends like I’ve been sitting still for 6 months.

Oh wait, I did.

For those who don’t know, I had season ending shoulder surgery in January, retiring to the DL for a long stint in an puke orange recliner for re-runs of Law and Order and an unhealthy addiction to google reader (typing one handed for non-masturbatory purposes for the win!). 6 months later, I’m viewing July as a month long rehab assignment and things are running smoothly for a return to first team action.

I have been working with the best training staff I could imagine. I know this is an anonymous (sorta) site, and my annual visitor rate quintuples when growabrain links to me, but I wanted to give a little public recognition to the people who helped me survive surgery and recovery relatively happily, without incident, and perhaps most importantly, without cameos from my over-protective family. Thanks to:
Dr. Orfaly at OHSU and his awesome staff.
Ed from New Heights Integrative Therapy
Dr. Murczek from Mountain Spring Health Clinic (who needs a damn website)
Tim from Studio X fitness.
